Empower | Respect | Aspire

Aspire to HE (higher education) is a partnership of schools and colleges, led by the University of Wolverhampton and part of the Uni Connect programme funded by the Office for Students. The main aim of the partnership is to support the government’s goal to increase the number of young people from less advantaged backgrounds entering higher education by 2020.

To support young people to progress to higher education, Aspire to HE designs and delivers a programme of informative and engaging outreach activities including, revision classes, summer schools, Saturday clubs, workshops , mentoring programmes, university and college campus visits and subject taster courses.

We want every young person we work with to be able to make an informed and ambitious decision about progressing to higher education.

The Aspire to HE partnership works with over 39 secondary schools to help young people make informed, ambitious decisions about how to progress to higher education. Aspire to HE covers Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, and Telford and Wrekin.

The in-school Aspire to HE lead is Louise Woodhall
