Uniformed Youth Services Day
These are the pictures of all Year groups who have students that volunteer in uniformed youth services in their own time. These students are helping to set good role models within Ercall Wood for the day, by wearing their uniforms, to celebrate working in the community. This supports the work done in school as part of Life Skills lessons and Citizenship.
Some students didn’t have photos, but pictured are:
Sea Cadets – Samuel Williams, Eleanor Cox, Abbie Pritchard.
Air Cadets – Georgie-Grace Cornish, Alistair Turnball.
Army Cadet – Chealsea Bowler.
Girl Guides – Evie Bigley, Libby Everson, Tia Crooke, Fern Davey, Emily Dowdall, Natasha Barnes.
Girls Brigade – Jayci Hannah, Chloe Bushell and Charlotte Braddock.
Scouts – Mrs Flegg, Mrs Hajdasz, Anna Stevenson, Mr Manville, Oliver Kemp, Tabitha Bain, Daniel Hajdasz, Tali Lort, Nerys Huxley, Mrs Stewart, Oscar Lee, Ally Whitehead and Sean Flegg.
St Johns – Djalece and Xyra Van der Merwe
This is part of our week long reflections during assembly in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday in which all students will be taking part in their local areas. Students in art have also taken part in creating various projects by painted murals at The Plough Inn for the previous two years, for the local community. Year 8 (all) and 9 Art-Textiles students have made the two paper poppy wreaths this year in the group photo.
