Year 9 / 10 Competition

Competition - 'Visions of a World after COVID-19'.

Global media organisation openDemocracy are hosting a competition titled 'Visions of a World after COVID-19'.

Alongside its photo and video categories is a written entry option. Here, students of at least 14 years of age are encouraged to write an article about how COVID-19 will affect and change the world: 'What might democracy look like as countries emerge from lockdown? How will public health change as a result of this global pandemic? What lessons from history have we forgotten that might guide how the world recovers? How will our societies and cultures respond to this global crisis and its aftermath?'. For more information about how to enter and the fabulous prizes and opportunities on offer visit the following link: https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/world-after-covid/

The competition has already opened, but there is still time to submit an entry before the closing deadline of 10th July.

Good luck to anyone who enters!
